17 was the age that the model was born in me, before that I used to dance. I was told by a friend that was a model signed to Icon Model Management, that I had "a look” to try it out, I did and never looked back.

Over the years from 17-20 I did little gigs here and there but it never became serious until I turned 21. Around that time in my life I was still growing and learning about myself studying and mastering my look. I was unstoppable to me, With all the confidence I had and photos in my portfolio I went to open calls in Toronto. I went to see agencies like Elmer Olsen, Next, Elite, Icon, Ford, and Surtherland. Elmer told me they liked my look and that I should gain weight and come back. Next, Ford, and Elite said am not what they are looking for or they had someone that looked like me. Icon asked me for money, which is something I don’t believe agencies do if they genuinely like a model. Sutherland tried to sell me classes saying that I needed training that I should pay them for some dumb ass classes. At that point I was defeated, so discouraged. I thought something was wrong with me and my physical. It took me a while to get over it. Years later I changed my look and went back to see a few of the same agencies not only to get the same responses that I was not what they are looking for. Then I started to think that maybe I’m just not meant to be in Toronto. Maybe they don't understand me and the time would come when they do. I then tried Push Models Management, they loved my look and took digitals of me. I felt great after leaving their office but a week later they sent me a rejection e-mail. I started to think to myself maybe Toronto was too commercial for my edgy look, I also thought maybe that it was a race thing, that it was easier for the agencies to sell a white guy with blue eye then to sell a black dark skin edgy guy like me. It all made me so mad and then I started to hate the fashion industry because what I knew and loved about fashion didn't make sense. Isn't fashion suppose to be daring or think outside the box, take chances, start new trends or praise differentness?

Not one of these agencies took a chance on me but it won’t stop me from accomplishing my dream. I wasn't raised a quitter. I have been told by many that I have worked with that I got a look and that they love the way I model. So I can't stop and won't stop until I get signed and travel the world. my career so far hasn't just been about it’s downs because I have worked with amazing people over the years. I had the chance to work with Photographer Matt Banes. I also walked 4 years in a row for F.A.T Fashion Arts Toronto week. I was named once “One To Watch" in the Fresh Faces Canada contest. Last year I was asked to model in a in-store event inside Contraband Boutique for Off-White By Virgil Abdul, the Creative Directer for Kanye West. Being apart of that event was one of the best things to happen so far in my career. This past February I got to walk in Tom* Toronto Men's Fashion Week for Andrew Coimbra. That experience was nothing but amazing. Sometimes I even do my own projects. A year ago I did a project called Going Live. I streamed a photoshoot showing the world what it's like on set with me, 100 viewers tuned in. I’m currently working on a new Project called 7.7.7: My Journey To Greatness. What I’m trying to do with my own project is make noise on my own take my career into my own hands so the world could see my greatness. I’m passionate about modelling it mean the world to me, and I’m such a determine person that I won't stop until I reach my goals. I’m still on my way and grateful for everything that has happen in my career so far the good and bad because it has made me who I am today. There a lot more greatness to come, God has a plan and I'll never question that I've just got to keep faith and make him lead.
